PurpleHere POS v3.100 Update

What's New

Sellers can now edit incoming orders

When a buyer orders the wrong item, you no longer have to reject the whole order. Open the order and choose Edit items to change a quantity, swap in a different product, remove a line, or add one.

  • Available before dispatch only — while the order is Submitted or Confirmed. Once delivery has started, or any quantity has been received, the order is locked.
  • You can only pick products from your own catalogue that the buyer is set up to receive into stock. Unit prices come from your catalogue, so a stale price cannot slip in.
  • The order total cannot go up. A purchase order is the amount the buyer approved. If you need to charge more, reject the order as before and let the buyer reorder.
  • Adding a reason is optional.

Buyers are told what changed

If a seller edits your order, you get an email showing each line before and after, plus the old and new order total. The same summary appears at the top of the order page. This is sent whether or not the seller wrote a reason.
