Standardized Online Payments (Stripe and PayPal)
We have rebuilt our online payment infrastructure on the industry-standard Subscriptions APIs from Stripe and PayPal.
- Card details never touch PurpleHere — they go directly to Stripe / PayPal's PCI-compliant pages
- Automatic monthly charging, smart retries on failure, and automatic card-expiry updates are all handled by the gateway
- Customers can manage payment methods, change cards, or cancel subscriptions via the self-service Customer Portal
- Subscription status (active, past due, paused, canceled) syncs automatically through 8 webhook events
- 4 issuer types (System / Brand / Foodcourt / Supplier) — each with their own Stripe and PayPal credentials
Partner Discount via External QR
Link any active coupon to an External QR code (Settings → Operations). Customers scanning the QR — for example, hotel guests or office tower employees — automatically receive the partner discount at checkout, with no coupon code entry needed.
- A single dropdown on each External QR card to link or unlink coupons
- Auto-save with visual confirmation
- The Coupons list shows which External QRs reference each coupon
- Mobile checkout displays the partner discount banner and locks manual coupon input
Other Improvements
- PayPal connection guide updated with the full 8-event webhook setup and Vault/Subscriptions feature toggles
- Referral logo refresh (v2) and cookie banner now hidden on referral pages
- Improved error messages with field-level hints across the backend
