PurpleHere POS v3.29 Update

What's New

  • Restaurant Reservations — Customers can now book tables directly from the mobile menu. Staff approve, assign tables, and track no-shows from a single timeline page. Available on all plans.
  • Redesigned 2-tier Sidebar — Every role (System Admin, Brand, Foodcourt, Restaurant, Supplier) now shares a unified two-column sidebar with clean line icons. Categories on the left, sub-menus on the right — collapsible, with floating popovers when collapsed.
  • Unified 80px Headers — Consistent header height across every page for a polished, professional look. Better alignment between sidebar and content.
  • Mobile Home Refresh — Cleaner line icons and improved order-type selection. Guest reservation flow is now smoother end-to-end with auto-registration and a dedicated confirmation page.
  • More Reliable Backend — Reservation times now correctly respect each restaurant's timezone. Database stability significantly improved with index cleanup and safer startup behavior.
  • Unified Subscription Forms — One subscription form pattern across Restaurants, Brands, Foodcourts, and Managers. Discount, Trial, and Auto-renew fields are available everywhere.
  • Action Button Consistency — All status transition buttons now follow the same Live Orders palette across reservations, orders, and supplier flows.
  • New App Icons — Refreshed favicon, app icons, and PWA install assets across desktop and mobile.

Why It Matters

Reservations bring a meaningful new revenue channel for sit-down restaurants without adding a third-party booking fee. The sidebar redesign and header unification raise the overall polish of the operator experience, especially for chains and foodcourts juggling many sub-menus. Backend stability work means fewer surprises during peak hours.
