What's New in v3.30

This release focuses on stability and a smoother experience across desktop and mobile.

Desktop & Mobile App (PWA)

• Installed PurpleHere POS apps now open straight into the login screen and route you to your role's dashboard automatically — the blank screen issue when launching the installed app is fixed.

Mobile Sidebar

• On smaller screens, tapping a top-level menu now expands its sub-menu inline below as a clean white drop-down. You no longer get stuck with only the first-level icons.

Faster Page Loads

• The Stock Items page is dramatically faster — payload reduced by over 400×. Inventory item images now load from optimized files instead of being embedded inline in the response.

Notifications

• Your notification preferences from Settings are now respected for push notifications immediately. Toggling a category off in Settings stops both email and push for that category right away.

Reliability

• Menu Management is more robust when a product image is missing — no more error pop-ups, the emoji fallback shows cleanly.
• Build pipeline hardened so deployments don't stall on permission mismatches between team members.

Notes

If you already installed PurpleHere POS as a desktop or mobile app before this update, please uninstall and reinstall the app to pick up the new launch behavior.
