PurpleHere POS v3.31 Update

What's New

Brand Menu System (for Franchise HQ)

Brand HQs can now create master menu templates and push them to all franchise stores in one click. Each menu has 5 lock toggles (name, price, category, image, options) — locked fields stay protected at every store, while unlocked fields remain fully editable. Version-aware syncing means stores see a clear "updates available" badge when HQ revises a recipe, and one-click syncing keeps everyone aligned.

Dual-Monitor Customer Display

The Customer Display now opens automatically on the secondary monitor attached to your POS terminal. Click once after connecting the rear screen, and from then on it remembers the position and reopens itself on every POS launch. For a 100% boot-time experience, a step-by-step Windows kiosk-mode guide is now in Settings → Printer.

Menu Image Upload — Phone Photos Now Work

Uploading menu photos straight from your phone (3–7 MB) used to silently fail. The upload limit was raised to 10 MB and the dropzone now compresses everything client-side before sending — no more rejected pictures. HEIC files (iPhone default) now show a clear conversion message instead of hanging.

Korean UI Polish

Dozens of Korean strings that previously fell back to English have been translated correctly — receipt thank-you lines, takeaway surcharge explanations, table number prefix help, option group empty states, and more.

Stability

Full-sweep verification across all Restaurant Admin and Brand General pages confirms 67 of 68 core API operations passing. Customer-facing checkout, kitchen, and POS terminal flows untouched.
