PurpleHere POS v3.70 Update
What's New
Kitchen tickets for long-open tables
If a table stayed open for more than a day, adding new items could silently skip the kitchen ticket for that round. Purple POS now decides by when printing became necessary, not by when the order was first taken — so a new round on a long-open table always prints.
Cancellation, table-change and item-void notices continue to print regardless of how old the order is, because they reflect what your staff is doing right now.
E-wallet types
Payments can now record which e-wallet was used — Touch 'n Go, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay or DuitNow. Choose the e-wallets your store accepts under Settings > Payment Methods. If you accept only one, it is tagged automatically at checkout with no extra tap for your cashier; if you accept several, the cashier picks one.
Mall sales reporting
Stores inside a shopping mall can report hourly sales to the mall's system automatically. The IOI Mall (Tangent) integration is complete and verified, and switches on once the mall issues production credentials.
Reservations and Floor Plan
- Reserved tables now display cleanly inside the table circle instead of overflowing.
- Checking in a reservation from Floor Plan sets it to Seated automatically and links it to the new order.
- Dismissing a printer error banner now keeps it dismissed, and the banner sits at the bottom of the screen so it no longer covers the top menu.
Android app
Logging in on an Android tablet now offers a Download for Android button for the native app, which can print to kitchen printers over WiFi or Bluetooth.
