What's New
Payment time is now recorded
Until now, completing a payment stored only the fact that it happened — never when the money was received. Every payment now records its time, amount, and the staff member who took it.
More accurate cash-up
Because there was no payment time, cash-up had to fall back to when the order was taken. Money received after a shift change was counted toward the previous shift. Cash-up now uses the actual time the payment was received.
No double-recorded online payments
When two card or PayPal requests arrived at almost the same moment, the same payment could be recorded twice, inflating sales and cash-up totals. Only one record is kept now.
What stays the same
Nothing changes in how you take orders, move them through the kitchen, or print. Past orders are left untouched — we do not invent a payment time that was never recorded.
