PurpleHere POS v3.86 Update

What's New

Page headers no longer get cut off on tablets

On a tablet held upright, the title bar at the top of the screen used to clip whatever did not fit — the plan badge, the remaining-days label, the tour button. The title bar now grows to fit its contents and the right-hand items wrap onto a second line.

This was not limited to the dashboard. The same gap existed on 56 screens across every role, and a related one on 54 screens at phone width. All of them are fixed. Desktop layouts are unchanged.

Supplier price changes now flow through to ingredient cost

When you update the price of a product from a supplier you registered yourself, the cost of every ingredient and stock item that buys it now updates with it. Previously the new price was saved but the cost stayed at the old value, so margins looked right when they were not.

Note: this applies to changes made from now on. Prices edited before this update keep their old cost until the upcoming purchase-order and invoice reconciliation work.

Also in this release

  • Brand owners running more than one brand now see every purchase order addressed to them, including orders that arrived under a different brand.
  • Purchase orders now show the unit the supplier actually sells in — a 1 kg bottle of sauce reads as kg, a 50-piece pack reads as pack.
  • Received purchase orders always produce a trade invoice. Three buttons finished a receipt but only one of them issued the invoice.
  • Larger touch target for the invoice upload button on phones.
